Role Reversal | Enneagram Type 3 Interview
What happens when the interviewer becomes the interviewee?
If you’ve ever had a creative impulse that simply won’t let go—or felt overwhelmed by the state of our planet—this episode is for you.
In Episode 7, I hand the reins to fellow coach and collaborator Jeni Rogers, who turns the questions I usually ask my guests back on me. We talk about the strengths and challenges of my Enneagram Type Three personality, the creative impulse behind Inner Ecology, and the experiences that shaped why I felt compelled to create this podcast—including a few personal stories I’ve never shared before.
I hope you’ll join me for this behind-the-scenes conversation and follow Inner Ecology on Apple Podcast or Spotify for more Enneagram interviews and explorations of resources that boost our resiliency.

You Matter More Than You Think: Quantum Social Change for A Thriving World by Karen O’Brien. **
** While completing this episode I discovered this amazing quote from Karen O’Brien’s book. It felt highly relevant to what we explore in this epidose:
“Transformative change often starts with self-inquiry: What is important to me? What do I stand for, both for myself and others? What results do I want to see in this world? And what systems and cultures need to shift to realize these?” p. 118
In today’s episode we refer to ‘The Great Turning,’ a phrase coined by Macy to describe the opportunity and challenge of our time. For more check out The Work That Reconnects Network
Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World by Katharine Hayhoe **I appreciate how she moves beyond politicized divisions and roots in shared values and respectful conversations.

‘Islands of Sanity’ is a phrase coined by Margaret Wheatley, an organizational leadership author, who writes about how we can create and nourish places of refuge and possibility in times of turbulence.

I have looked for info about Greenfields Nature Reserve for years and only recently was able to unearth more details to supplemant my memories. Räto Pfranger and his wife Veronica Pfranger were long-time residents of Nicaragua originally from Switzerland. They co-founded Greenfields and while he lived on site, they were both critical in nurturing this unique reserve and all it would become.
Thanks to Sarah Moore, a dear friend and wise human I connected to in Divinity School, for the phrase ‘singing bowl self’ to describe that most resonant truthful inner voice. You can read more about her work HERE.
